Whew. What a weekend. I have to admit it was rather fun being a vendor instead of just a shopper! Getting in early by just waiving a parking pass. Seeing the first of the shoppers wind their way through the booths. Seeing all the great stuff displayed by so many wonderful vendors. Just being in on the behind-the-scenes, learning a bit more about the ins and outs of a pop-up shop. Spending time with my friend who set up shop with me. She’s the sweetest thing and it has been so fun working with her. We set up together at The Brick Farmhouse Event in 2011. We wanted to do Springfield last year but neither May nor September worked for me. And now here we are a year later with one Springfield show under our belts!
A Brass Deer and Some Dishes
A brass deer and dishes. Oh yes, and a basket. It’s what I collected as thrift finds in the past couple weeks. I have a small pile of thrifted dishes now. Some of them are probably going to have to go in the ‘for sale’ pile but I’m having a hard time deciding which ones. I have the same problem with all the chairs I find myself ending up with.
