When your teenager is always wanting something made of this fabric or that fabric that you have lying around your sewing room, you eventually give in. Even when you KNOW she probably won’t wear it once you have it made. Because it’s happened that way in the past. Even knowing, having experienced the making and the not wearing, you sigh and do it all over again.
S’mores Ruffled Scarf
Ruffles are so much fun. They dress up t-shirts. They take a simple skirt to the next level. They add a special touch to a plain sweater. In the past few years ruffles have been showing up on all kinds of apparel. And I love it. One of my very favorite finds ever is ruffled fabric. That delightfully fluffy fabric that is row after row of ruffles – already ruffled and ready to use. The most popular thing I’ve made has been the ruffled leggings that I have available in my etsy shop. One of the fabrics is called S’mores because it is brown and cream. Isn’t that a fun name for it!
