Hey my friends, just wanted to let you all know I’m having a Shop Small sale over in my online store! Runs through Saturday – ends at 11:59pm. Everything in the shop is in stock and ready to ship. Most pillows – only 1 available. A few there are 2 available. Not for pre-order, these […]
Hello friends! I have to take a moment to say thank you to those of you who come back to read my post each time I add one here. I can’t express just how much it means to me, how humbled and blessed it makes me feel that you support me and love me and cheer me on.
It’s been a few weeks already since I took the photos of my fall decor – mainly my living room. I love fall home decor and I have amassed quite the collection of faux pumpkins.
I recently created some new pillow designs and also pulled out the fall designs too. I’ve downsized my pumpkin stencil from last fall and added the small pillows to my fall line for this year.
Pillows for fall decor bring a cozy, warm touch to your living room, family room, bedrooms, and even a bench or chair in the kitchen!
Along with my patriotic pillows and the succulent and cactus pillows, I also recently created these smaller sized patchwork Ohio pillows. I made a few large sized Ohio pillows for my last pop-up shop and everyone loved them. Requests came in for some of the smaller size so I made a few.
I shared my Patriotic pillows last week, so now it’s time to show you my succulent and cactus pillow designs! They were so fun to create, and are all available at local shops – Wright on High and Midwest Memories.
Scroll through the photos and leave me a comment – tell me which is your favorite.
I made a few patriotic pillows recently and they turned out really cute! I don’t have a pop-up shop event before the 4th of July so I delivered them all to local shops. If you see something here you would like and your aren’t local just send me an email and I’ll fix you up! email@example.com

I share the most on Instagram – it’s my favorite 🙂
When it comes to textiles, I pretty much love them all. They all have a purpose and a place in this life. The textures and softness textiles bring to any decor really brings the space to life.
I especially love when textiles are used in unexpected ways. Today I’m sharing with you a couple ways I’ve been using burlap in unexpected ways.
Now burlap is a fabric that I have sort of a love/hate relationship with. I love the look of it and I love what other people do with it, but I don’t love to work with it myself. It’s itchy and messy and it makes my skin break out in a rash sometimes. Therefore I rarely use the stuff. I occasionally use it for a custom pillow request. Small bits of it here and there on a pillow or handbag design. But for the most part I stay away from the stuff anymore.
My small, word art pillows have been so fun to create. The vintage detailing that make them one-of-a-kind is my favorite thing about them.
All the lace, doilies, trim, yo-yos, and fabric scraps are vintage finds. Body of pillow is our signature canvas fabaric as well as the frayed-edge pieces on which the words are stenciled.
Today I’m sharing my Easter Tablescape and some Spring decor. Springtime is always so fresh and invigorating, the warming air, bright sunshine, green grass, and blooming flowers.
Last summer I introduced some new, smaller size pillow designs. I took my original designs from my larger pillows and began making them smaller for the smaller size pillows. These are perfect for a kids room, an accent pillow along with the larger pillow designs, on a bed, a small side chair, or just about anywhere you want to tuck a fun, squishy pillow.
I’ve been enjoying the slower pace of the last couple months. I’ve spent more time in my workroom just creating. Playing with new fabrics, fonts, and colors. Planning out a bit of a schedule for the year.
We recently had a family movie night and watched the newest ‘Cinderella’ movie. The one with real people. I know it’s not exactly a brand new movie. But we hadn’t seen it yet, and I have to say it’s really good. I have always loved the Cinderella story – I’m a romantic at heart, what can I say?! I love a rags to riches story 🙂
Shakespeare’s Sonnet 116 – Love is not Love… I find more and more I am drawn to the era of Victorian England and to the writings the people of Victorian England liked to read. Not all of it, mind you, but the romance and beauty portrayed draws me. Admittedly, I am quite happy to NOT […]
