I hope your preparations are as stress-free as possible. I’m sharing one more decor post this season – my kitchen! I rarely show off my kitchen these days. It’s not a user-friendly kitchen and it’s not the hub of our home like many kitchens are. It’s just too small. Now that the kids are adult size it’s more frustrating and chaotic for everyone to be in the kitchen than it is relaxing and happy. We gather there to eat supper most evenings, but the meal prep and clean-up is generally easier if you work one at a time.
As I said in my previous post featuring my dining room, I kept things a bit simpler this year. Notice how there is no greenery filling my chandeliers. I love them stuffed with fresh greens but this year I let that little detail go.
My husband cleaned my big chandi for me recently and it sparkles and looks so good on its own, I decided I didn’t need to go to the work of adding the greenery. I certainly won’t miss the mess of clean up next week after Christmas either.

My handmade business has kept me so busy I’ve just completely let this little space slide. I do miss it, so I’m happy to be sharing some posts with you this week. We are starting with my Christmas decor in the Dining room.
