Hello friends. It’s been awhile! I’ve been a bit overwhelmed with juggling a wholesale biz, an online shop, a brick and mortar store, life in general, kids, homeschooling, all while living through another winter 😀 Granted we’ve had a pretty great winter, as far as winter in Ohio goes. Not a lot of snow, not any huge long stretches of bitter cold. But still. 28° is cold. Wind chills in the single digits is cold. No matter how long it lasts it’s still cold! And it settles in my bones and makes me want to do nothing more than curl up in a warm fuzzy blanket and hibernate till the weather is 70°+ 😀
January flew right by and here we are 3 days into February. The month that hosts Valentine’s Day! While I don’t go all out with Valentine’s Decor, and I don’t throw a hissy fit if I don’t get roses, I do like a bit of fun Valentine’s Decor and I will create a Valentine’s Pillow made of Old Jeans and detail it up with some genuine leather hearts! Call it a Hallmark holiday if you want but I kinda like it 🙂 It’s a good excuse to get all frilly and foofy if you want to 🙂
Old spindles just don’t belong on the burn pile! I didn’t know what I was going to do with them…
It’s winter where I live and that means it’s cold. If you happen to live in an area of the US that has warm weather in the winter then count yourself very blessed 🙂
I’m excited to tell you that I’ve been asked to join up with a group of bloggers this year to bring you ‘Farmhouse Friday’ every 4th Friday of the month. This month we are talking about ‘cozying up the farmhouse.’
These cold days and colder, long nights can be brutal – so what’s a girl to do to
Are you ready to see some Valentine ideas?!? Do you decorate for Valentines at all? I didn’t do much at all until a few years ago. I found a few Valentines decor items here and there at boutique shops that were easy to store and pull out for the few weeks I have Valentine’s Day Decor around. It’s a fun, refreshing way to bring some cheer to the home after the Christmas decor is packed away for another year. Today I’m sharing something new I created and sharing how to make Valentine Art our of Junk.
