Valentine Pillow Designs – Hearts and More

Eight days into the new year already!  Time for some Valentine Pillow designs.  I brought back a couple classic designs from last year and added a few new, originals.  sew-a-fine-seam-pillow-designs-1

Location specific pillows are still a favorite, and the smaller size has been a bit hit.  This year we are bringing more of this smaller size to the state pillows and also other designs.  This size is 14×14 and is filled with a wonderful, down-alternative insert.  Shoppers can find pillows available at my shop – Smith Merchants in Arcanum Ohio, and at Midwest Memories in Tipp City Ohio.  This size is not available for wholesale.  I will be carrying lots of these at my pop-up shop events this year too.

The large heart filling up the front of the pillow is a classic style that we introduced to our line last year.

You & me is another design we introduced last year.  My designer created a unique design of the phrase, and it is hand stenciled onto our signature canvas fabric.  Red for Valentine’s Day, but we also offer this in grey, black, or turquoise.  We do offer custom colors – contact for color availability and cost for custom.

Mr. and Mrs. and I ♥ U.  Perfect for Valentines but also great to add to your decor year round.

Fabric for the I ♥ U is a heavy lace – limited number of these available.  Can be made with any of the fabrics we offer.

15 hearts.

14 hand stenciled, red hearts – for Valentine’s Day.

1 hand stitched, genuine leather heart to make 15 – for my Mom and my daughter who were both born on February 15th.  A few decades apart of course 😀

I love this design.  Not only do the numbers of hearts have meaning for me but the simple design is stunning and the one leather heart adds whimsy and interest.

Lots of hearts, in traditional red and white but also in some fun and quirky prints too for those who want a more trendy look.

Love and Dream with arrows.  These can be made in black or grey also.

Ohio with arrow.  I created this design myself using a font I and drawing the arrow myself.

Featuring classic Black and white, this world map on our signature canvas can be customized in the color of your choice.  Contact me for color availability.  This is an artwork I purchased.  When I purchase artwork I only buy the art that offers a commercial license, as it is not legal to use personal use artwork on items made for resale.

Towards the end of last year I had a request for my farmhouse pillow in the same font as other words I had made on pillows.  So I created this one.  Shown here in a duck egg color we also make it in black, grey and red.  Custom colors available – subject to color availability.

Close-up of the small size, state pillows.  This is the last of this fabric – it was a fun one last summer but we will not be restocking it.

Another addition from last year – small pillows made from vintage fabric and old, cloth book pages.  We use the actual vintage book pages to create these unique, original pillows.  I made a batch of these last year before a summer pop-up shop event and they have all sold out.  Customers can find these very soon at my shop.  Not available online at this time.  Not available for wholesale.sew-a-fine-seam-pillow-designs-22

The pictures in these old books are just so sweet.

Little Boy Blue is my fav.  I find myself tempted to keep this one – just in case I ever have a grandson!

Main fabric is old feedsack fabric.

I love the bright cheerfulness of Daffy Down Dilly.sew-a-fine-seam-pillow-designs-23

That’s all for now but more will be coming soon!
