Spring is here! The calendar says so, the weather says so some days, and I am definitely more than ready to see winter go packing and not come back!
Today is Farmhouse Friday and this month I’m sharing with you my Farmhouse Spring Living Room. I love it when the main room we hang out in is clean and tidy, and all decorated with fresh, fun decor.
For our Spring Home Tours we teamed up with Country Living and they are featuring us on their site. Make sure to go check it out.
My Spring Tour consists of my living room this time. I enjoy doing several rooms for a seasonal tour but this year most of my house is covered in pillow creations in various stages of completion. Spring and Summer events will soon be upon us and the preparations are well underway!
This week was the huge, multi-family garage sale I have helped with every spring for the past 11 years. This spring was my last one. I have a business to run and just don’t have the time to dedicate to this large event anymore.
Since I was at the sale every day this week I’m going to let my photos tell the story in this post – I’m exhausted and ready to head to bed.
Have a wonderful weekend and make sure you visit my friends – links are at the bottom of this post!
I grabbed a plastic basket of pansies at Kroger and replanted them into fun containers I had and scattered them around my living room for a fun, springy pop of color and fun.
The pussy willow was cut from our own bush.
One of my brand new pillow designs – Live Loved. John 3:16
Resurrection Garden created by a local teen – proceeds go to benefit the needy in Haiti!
My newest vintage find – this old railroad sign is so fun and I love what it adds to this space.
Old toolbox tray planted with pansies.
A little birds nest tucked into the flower tray adds a touch of whimsy.
It’s Good Friday my friends – take a bit of time to contemplate what our Savior did for us 2000+ years ago!

I adore all your vintage touches in your spring decor! I love that little resurrection garden too. I just started seeing those this year, not sure if it’s been a “thing” in the past, but such a great idea!
Thanks Pam! the Resurrection gardens have a bit of a thing here for a couple years. I think they are so fun!
My favorite season is spring which reminds me of the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am thankful for what my Savior did for me. The “resurrection garden” is very appropriate. Love the pansies, too. I brought out my faux forsythias and put them in the living room. They look real. I don’t have any forsythias blooming because we just planted two, but next year I hope to see them and other spring blooms. (We bought a new house and had to put in all the landscaping). We also planted two purple lilac trees, white and pink dogwoods, redbud trees and other plants. And Jill, I bought one of those “Baby tear’s” plants and put it in front of a window in one of the bathrooms where it is thriving. I’m placing a small wooden cross in it and using it as a centerpiece for our Easter dinner. Thanks again for the idea.
Oh Tricia, your plants sound awesome! What a lovely yard you will have as they grow and bloom! Glad you got a baby’s tears too! My fav for inside!
BEAUTIFUL and soothing,. Looks like such a comfortable room to sit and read in or even just meditate. I really like your wingback chairs and you can bet I’m going to make one of the ressurection gardens – I have been wanting to make the crosses from sticks and I have a small cloche they would look great under. Thanks for the inspiration!
Thank you so much! I love the resurrection gardens so much – It’s a fun bit of green after the winter months and such an awesome reminder what our Savior did for us!
Jill, I’m still in love with the shutters on your window. Such a pretty space. Your coffee table on wheels is just adorable!
Thank you Jennifer! I love my shutters too – wish I could put them on every window in the house 🙂
So pretty and fresh and I love your piano!
I like what you did with the pansies! And I love the resurrection gardens.
Your house looks lovely!
Thank you! I love the pansies too. I moved them outside over the weekend so they could get some sunshine!
This room is such a great space, especially with all of your spring touches, Jill!! I just love your yellow wing back chair. And the pansies too. Thanks for some great ideas.
I’m new to this blog. Where can I find the Live Loved pillows to purchase? I’d like a couple for my granddaughters.
