A couple of years ago I set up a fun Fall Dining on the Front Porch Tablescape at a friends house. I loved those photos so much I decided it was a good idea to share them again this fall.
I loved my friend’s table and benches, and knew this setting would be perfect for a fall tablescape.
Setting up a Fall table on the porch and having dinner there sounds like a wonderful way to enjoy the fall weather and enjoy the color in the leaves around you. If we ever live in the country I hope we have a porch large enough for a table so we can eat meals there.
Vintage bedsprings make fun vases for flowers or other natural elements from the yard. You can see a fun arrangement I did a few days ago here.
Quirky but simple centerpiece created with old books, a pumpkin, vintage tickets, a clock face, and a Hydrangea tucked into the mix. Hydrangea alone would make a beautiful and easy centerpiece if you are pushed for time or don’t want to pull other items out of your house.
I used wooden utensils I purchased from Pick Your Plum. Easy for an outdoor dinner, you can just toss them when the meal is over and they look rather cute besides!
Blue Ball pint jars are always fun, and I love mine. I use them often for photo shoots or just for fun when I’m having myself a cool drink. Lids came with straw holes and were purchased from Decor Steals. Striped Straws were from Pick Your Plum.
Fresh bread is always a wonderful addition to a picnic or dinner. Serving it in a vintage bread basket with an old linen liner makes it special.
Pumpkin soup is a wonderful, yummy meal for fall! I need to make some very soon because these pics are making me crave it.
For this shoot I purchased the pumpkins. Everything else I had on hand. You can create a lovely tablescape without spending a dime just by shopping your home and pulling together some things you love and creating a vignette that makes you happy.
I hope you enjoyed a recap of an old post 🙂 I enjoyed revisiting it and sharing it again. Happy Fall!
