Today I have my friend Sharon from Mrs. Hines’ Class sharing with us today. I think you will really enjoy what she has to share.
Here’s Sharon…
Hello Sew A Fine Seam friends! My name is Sharon, a.k.a. Mrs. Hines from the blog Mrs. Hines’ Class. Much like Jill, my blog is a place where I share my home and life.
What I love about Jill and her blog is that she shares from her heart, from a place of caring and giving. She is a nurturer.
So, I chose this post, “More Than a Sitting Room”, to share with you today because it reminds me of Jill’s heart for you.
As I work on transforming my breakfast room into a sitting room, I dream of more than just a sitting room.
I dream of a way of life.
A life in which I walk through a set of french doors onto my back porch where I stretch with the flowers and wake with the birds.
After I finish stretching, I walk back through the french doors, leaving them wide open, and sit down to enjoy some fresh fruit and a toasted bagel with cream cheese. And, I linger… just long enough to allow this space to nurture me and prepare me for the day ahead.
As I reflected on my dream, I wondered “what am I waiting for?”
I can start living that dream now.
And you can, too.
Because after all…
A home is a whole world, made up not only of memories and real life, but of plans for the future, of enthusiasms and passions.” Christiane de Nicolay-Mazery
I hope your home is all of those things!
See you in class,
Thank you so very much Sharon, for sharing such a lovely post with us here at Sew a Fine Seam! Peeps, I hope you will go over visit Sharon – see what she has to share from her teacher’s heart!
I love this! Embracing today and all the things about my life that I love and just choosing gratitude everyday! I love creating home.
