I recently joined a fb group of bloggers and some of us are joining up and having a Christmas Home Blog Tour.
The links to the others are at the bottom of this post – a few each day for the next couple of days.
I’m sharing some of my favorite photos of my Christmas decor here and linking you to all the other homes in the tour so you can enjoy them all!
I think this is my very favorite photo from this years Christmas photo shoot. The sun was actually shining on this afternoon – we’ve had very little sunshine this December. I love how the sun coming in the window creates the brightness. I love the lights on the tree and the lights on the shelf beyond the tree.
On the other side of my living room is the sight I see when I sit in my chair. I love the lights in the cupboard and I think I may leave the lights for a few months at least.
My cowhide rug is new and we are all loving it. It’s the softest thing ever and it’s just so fun!
Our coffee station in the kitchen.
Open shelvingKitchen window sill.
I love having a stairway banister to deck out for the holidays.
Dining room nook with my Fontanini Nativity.
Lockers through the doorway to my work room. A bay garland and magnolia leaves grace the top.
My woodland scene in the dining room.
Centerpiece on my dining room table.
My sheep outside the windows of my dining room is wearing a ribbon and a boxwood wreath this year.
My front door boasts a boxwood wreath too.
I hope you will hop over and check out all the other great house tours too!
I love your home and the Christmas decorations, such a rustic Christmas feel. Oh and that piano is beatiful
Thanks Havalah!
You did such a wonderful job. I love all the details..very classic yet modern against a white backdrop.
Thank you Theresa!
You are really cooking gal, love your home, so comfy and cozy and welcoming. The white is wonderful and all your awesome accessories look fantastic and your gorgeous tree. I’ll come back after tomorrow so I can really look and digest much more of your great photos. You’re really giving your camera a good workout. Loved the tour.
Wish I could stay up to see it all but better get to bed. Have to be up early and at the rec center where craft show is by 8:00 a.m. and believe me for me that’s quite a task. Not a morning person. But I’d better be tomorrow. WE were supposed to be able to set up today but something changed so tomorrow it is. Daughter will be there to help us also, what a Godsend that will be. She’s very organized. Much more like her Dad than her spontaneous when I feel like Mom.
Happy season Jill. Take care and have great weekend
Thank you so much JaneEllen! Please let me know how your craft show went!
What a beautiful Home you have. I really LOVE that rocking horse and your style of decor. It’s so sweet! Merry Christmas!

Thanks Niki! I love decorating!
Everything lo0oks so pretty. I love the way your shelf along the wall is decorated, and I’d leave the lights in the cabinet too. the deer mount with the crown and muffler is so cute! laurie
Thank you so much Laurie!
Love your home decked out for Christmas. Truly magazine worthy! May I ask what camera and lens you used. I am needing to upgrade and love your photos. Merry Christmas!
Ahh thanks so much Lucy. I have a Nikon D7000 and I use my 50mm lens as much as possible. When I need to get more in the photo than the 50mm will do I go to my 18-200 zoom lens. I do all my close ups with the 50mm and as much of the room shots as I can.
oh I can’t believe I’ve never been here before. what a super blog you have. I am following you now through Bloglovin. Found you through DOWN TO EARTH Christmas Tour. I see you have the same IKEA foot mat as me…LOL ! Christine stopping by from Little Brags
