I recently bought a new rug, but it didn’t work out where I had planned to put it. So I tried it somewhere else. In my dining room nook.
I’ve had this typography, bamboo rug in my nook for a couple years now. And I still like it. But I tried the new one there anyway.
The new one is smaller, but I kind of like it there. What do you think? Keep it or go back to the bamboo rug?
Today I worked on some more projects after the girls school work was finished. Well, I actually started while they were still working but the bulk of what I accomplished happened after they finished and I wasn’t interrupted every 2 minutes with a question. My teenager helped me out too. She grabbed a small stool and took it apart, painted the base, added new padding, and stapled new fabric to it. She even put it all back together again. I’ll have to show you the pics soon – I’m too tired to get off the couch and go get my sd card out of my camera!
Hope your week is off to a grand start.
The little one is cute but I love the old one! I bet you are looking forward to your little break this weekend!
I agree with Melanie! I love the old one!
I like the bamboo rug best because the size fills the space better. The other one looks too small there.
Please put the bamboo rug back, looks so much better. Sorry if I seem abrupt. New rug is cute but bamboo rug fills space much better. Birdcage looks really cute on table with flowers in it. Happy week. Take care of yourself, don’t work too hard.
I love the bamboo rug, but the little one adds more contrast against the floor and sometimes it just feels good to change things. Maybe leave it for a while and then break out the bamboo one again!
How fun to have Emma getting into the projects too! She has the eye for it.
Gotta say I love the old one the best-I like the slightly larger size. Hope you had a great day- xo Diana
the old one feels like it belong there, because it fills the entire nook. The smaller one makes the table/chair stand out more. I too prefer the larger one.
I adore the typography rug. I think it’s unique, stylish and really interesting. It has my vote…and a little bit of my heart 🙂
I’m going to jump on the bamboo bandwagon! 🙂
