Dresses. Paint. Kitties. I wouldn’t necessarily mix all 3 of these together in real life but it works for a blog post 😀 We have 5 darling kitties if anyone local would like a cuddly ball of fur to add to your family! They are active and so funny to watch.
She’s just begging you to come take her home with you 😉
Last weeks sewing project was 3 of these fun dresses. I will share more with you about the pattern in another post.
I made a dress using the same technique for a friend. I got the idea from a long-time blog friend of mine and she has the complete tutorial on her blog. I will share that along with pics of the other dress I made.
The fabric wasn’t my favorite but I love who sweet and pretty the dresses turned out. The blue is a wonderful color for the sash. So just remember that even if you might not love the fabric you can choose a fun pattern and end up with a dress you really love.
And just a teaser of what is going on in my girls room! I know, I know, you want to see the wall – I’ll share it as soon as I can 😀 Aren’t the colors fun? I need to paint their bed and Travis is ready to put down flooring. Wouldn’t this floor have been a lovely one to paint???! That is what I wanted to do – but hubby just couldn’t go with it. There are some spots of patched in OSB – which I said could be covered with a rug. But no go. Hardwood flooring it is. It will be lovely. And I have 3 round rugs ordered to put in here too. They go well with these colors. I’ll be back with the finished projects as soon as the flooring is in!

The kitten is adorable, the dresses are lovely, and the colors are so,so fun! Can’t wait to see the room. You will like the floor and the rugs will be so fun. It’s so nice to freshen and update spaces. Your girls will thoroughly enjoy their “new” room.
My girls think it’s terrible that i won’t let them keep all the kitties. They keep saying how Tucker and Renae get to keep all theirs – and they don’t listen to the fact that you live in the country and that makes a HUGE difference!
Renae and Tucker didn’t get to keep all theirs this year. We had waaaaayyyy too many! And living in the country does make a difference. Renae was talking about your girls earlier when we gave some of our kittens away and feeling so sorry for them because they would just have one kitten that was theirs and would have to get rid of them. 🙂
Precious kitty and dresses! Can’t wait to see what you’re doing with all that paint!
Blessings,
Cindy
Thanks Cindy! I got the girls bed painted yesterday so we are ready to install the flooring. As soon as that is done I’ll be posting the room reveal!
That kitten is just adorable. Someone will give them forever homes. Love those dresses, too, Jill. xo Diana
2 kitties went to a new home last night! The mama cat is in mourning today 🙁
So tempted by the kitty-the one time that I’m a little glad I don’t live near a fellow blogger C:
🙂 Too bad we can’t mail kitties 😉

Thanks Stacey – I did have fun with the paint. Can’t wait to have the room complete and show it off!
