Do you frequent Hometalk? It’s a great place to hang out and get some great ideas. I was asked to curate a board of Stylish Slipcovers. It was fun digging up posts featuring lovely furniture makeovers involving slip covers. Whether you use linen, cotton, a fun print, stripes, dots, or even a lowly drop cloth, you can turn your tired looking furniture into beautiful, eye-catching wonders just by sewing a simple cover for it. They aren’t as hard as they first appear, they just take a bit of time and patience. They are worth the effort!
Check out my Stylish Slipcover Board to see all the great ideas out there.
From my board you can click to each original post and from each post you can click over to the blog. If you have questions about the slipcovers I have made please feel free to email me! You can find my email address on my contact page.
Have fun browsing through these lovely slipcovers and Hometalk!

I love slipcovers and just adore the ones you selected for that board! One day, I may learn how to make them. That is on my “bucket list”. LOL!
Thanks Kelly! it was fun to put this clipboard together!
Great job, Jill!! Love them 😉

Thanks Jamie!
Okay, please don’t judge me but…I’m 31 years old and I cannot sew a button!! The only thing I can sew is a seed in faith when I give. I’d love to be able to make all the lovely items you’ve featured. The ruffles are my favorite. 🙂
XOXO,
Meredith
Thanks Meredith! And no worries – not everyone likes to sew and it’s not required to be a great person! I’m sure you have plenty of talents!
