This weekend I helped out a friend by donating some of Sew a Fine Seam’s items to a benefit garage sale. Lots of people donated some great stuff. I bought some great stuff to add to my stash!
Another friend of mine set up a really cute drink stand.
If you’ve read here for very long you may have picked up on the fact that I am rather passionate about adoption. I haven’t talked about it in detail but I’ve mentioned it here and there. The beautiful faces of children needing forever families just tug at my heart. God hasn’t opened the door for us to bring any of these into our family at this point but I help out where I can – assisting those who are in the adoption process when I can.
I’ve shared this song here before but I wanted to share it again. It is such a favorite around here! Love all those black-skinned faces! God bless all the families waiting to hold their children in their arms, waiting to give them a family and love and a place of belonging. Waiting to show the love of God to all God’s children…

We have been involved in a couple of adoptions ourselves over the years. There is nothing like seeing a child paired with a family-completing all their lives. Blessings to you- you just never know what life will bring. xo Diana
