Hey Girl. Ryan Gosling. Cute sayings we would love our husbands to say. Or perhaps cute sayings our husbands DO say! Anyway, some bloggers are posting pics of their husbands with their own ‘hey girl’ sayings photoshopped in. And I just had to join in. Some of the ‘hey girl’ quotes out there are just too funny.
The first ‘Hey Girl’ post I saw was over a year ago – you can find it here.
These blogs are the ones you can link up to – link on one blog and it shows up on all 5.
This ‘Hey Girl’ party started February 7th and runs through the 13th. Yes, I’m a little late – I kept forgetting to take pics of my hubby.
ummm he said #2, #4 and #7.. am I right? The rest he didn’t … lol! Fun pics
He will iron and he does mop! And he will take me to the fabric store but he would never suggest it! The rest I pretty much made up out of wishful thinking!
He would do the mopping and ironing with no problem. Or I should say, does. 🙂
Good luck on the china cupboard one. My husband has a fit when I mention that you want to paint it. heehee
I can just imagine the reaction I would get if I asked my man to do a photoshoot so I could join in on the hey girl posts. another heehee!!!
So true – I’ve mopped my floors like, once I think. I have mopped the kitchen floor quite a lot over the years but my wood floors – he does them!
I guess your hubby will just have to have a fit when I paint my cupboard! He can join in with the others who tell Travis to stand his ground on this one I guess. But mark my words – someday that cupboard WILL get painted! Unless I die first.
Don’t die for a while, as in, long, long time, please!
And I think we’ll just let the decision be between you and Travis. 😉
What a fun idea!! I LOVE all the hey girl quotes out there, and, like you, would take my man over Ryan any day!! 34 years later he’s still the one!!
Love that you got your man to do this! Not sure Randy would but I’ll have to see!!
I told him about the hey girl things, and he just kind of zoned out. LOL!
Hugs, Jill!
Have a great week!
Becky
LOL! I had told Travis about it too and his eyes kind of glazed over. So Sunday night I grabbed my camera, told him to sit back down on the couch and just started snapping. Then I edited and photoshopped them on Monday and the deed was done!
What a great sport! 🙂 These were hilarious, especially the one about painting the hutch. Loved these!
🙂 Thanks Kelly! Painting the hutch is a bit of a sore spot – he says no i say YES! LOL! I’ll keep talking…
So, not only is husband talented and handy, he is also handsome :). These were adorable. I love his offer to take you to the fabric store…and I see you are still angling for approval to paint that china hutch white 🙂
You know it Amy! I want that cupboard painted! I’ve been photoshopping it in pics so it isn’t so orangey like red oak gets with age. The other day I moved the color hue to green and blue and purple. It would actually look quite cute in a fun turquoise! I can just HEAR what T would say to that!!! LOL!
Love it! It made me laugh out loud because Mr. Decor also says some of those same things. We are blessed indeed.
Very blessed Laura! Happy Valentines to you and your family!
What a great sport! I bet if you asked he really would take you on date night to the fabric store!
Bliss
🙂 If I asked he would take me – but he would never suggest it! LOL!
too cute! You got a good guys there!! 🙂
He’s the best!
Su funny! I’ve really enjoyed seeing these pictures on that party. Your handsome hubby was a real trooper letting you post him like that! LOL!
Thanks Kelly!
lol. this is awesome! 🙂 isn’t #5 something he would say? yeah, pretty sure it is. haha.
Oh Katie, that is the one I REALLY want him to say! Someday perhaps…!
This is so cute! I love the fabric store comment! LOL! My husband would only offer to take me there in my dreams! Have a great Valentine’s Day!
🙂 Thanks Jessica – he takes me willingly enough if I need to go or if I ask but he would never suggest it!
Oh my, too funny! What a great sport, make that cute great sport! 🙂 I LOVE the ‘Hey Girl’ series, I was laughing so hard the other night I was crying and my boys had to come over and read them!
Aren’t they so much fun Pam! So glad someone thought of having the party and I was able to join in before it was over!
hilarious! i love this!!! those Ryan Gosling pics have made laugh for sometime now, but this is even better!
Isn’t it fun Stacey! I like the Ryan Gosling pics so when I saw this party I knew I had to try to join in!
I’ll mop the floor LMAO!!!
These were so much fun Jill!
XOX
LOL! Suzan, the funny thing is that is one of the things he DOES!!!! He mops and I almost never iron his shirts. I iron one on Sunday morning for him but he usually just wears most of his shirts straight from the dryer. wasnt’ always that way – when we were first married I ironed every single shirt that came through the laundry every week.
Travis heard you wanted to do this, and immediately grew the Ryan Gosling stubble for the post- he is SO supportive!
Sigh! I know, he is just so great like that!
Ha! So funny! I caught that sneaky reference to painting your china hutch! Surely he’ll give in some day! 🙂 You could ask for permission to paint for your Valentine’s day gift. How could he refuse that?
Sigh. I have asked to paint that cupboard for my Christmas present and my birthday present and… I’ll keep talking – he will probably come around – eventually!
Hahaha! He’s a good sport! Hubby would not allow me to take photos of him for this purpose 🙂 The only ones I would get are the kind where his tongue is stuck all the way out!
I didn’t really give him much choice, just told him to sit on the couch and started snapping pics!
That’s HILARIOUS! Love your Hey Girl quotes, and the pictures. He’s a keeper if he will sit still and let you do that! 🙂
Debbie
Thanks Debbie! He is a keeper and I’m keepin’ him!
What a good sport! I like the hutch one a lot. Thanks so much for joining!
He is the best guy around! For me anyway – I’m sure you think your guy is the best 😉
Aw! Your hubs is such a good sport! I wish my husband would take me to the fabric store. Thanks for linking up!
He was a great sport! He even signed my Valentine’s card with ‘Hey Girl’ ‘Isn’t it about time for a date night?’!!! He’s the best!
