I worked on editing some of the wedding photos today. I need to work on it a LOT more but thought I would give you a sneak peek and share a couple of photos. No more till they are all edited and given to the bride though!
Flowers at the Guest Book
And the card I made for the wedding – I’m not very good at remembering to buy cards so I always end up making one quick at the last-minute. I will show you later what my family and my sister’s family gave as a gift.
I’ve been busy working on projects and marking stuff off my list of stuff-to-do today. And I started the slip cover project – you can see the chair patiently waiting its turn here. And now I’m off to work on the chair some more and then to spend a couple of hours editing photos. What have you been up to today?
You rock! A lot! Love the card and the flowers, and the fact that not only are you an amazing seamstress, you’re an amazing photographer and you make cards!?!? If I didn’t like you so much, I’d be insanely jealous. Whew, good for me that I do and I can channel all of this energy into being excited for you…and happy to know you! 🙂
LOL! I totally laughed out loud when I read your comment last night! I told my hubby and he laughed too! Thanks for providing that! I’ve got a lot to learn about photography but I’m having fun!!!
I cooked ground beef and made it into sloppy joes, taco soup, and haystack meat. Then I taught school, went to the library and then dropped the boys off to D who took them to the Mitt Romney campaign stop (but it was too full and they couldn’t see so they left) while I went to the mall and out for dinner by myself :o)
Sounds like a full and fun day!
Sounds like a great day! I have some food to make for you – I haven’t totally forgotten!
I knew your pics of the wedding were going to be awesome!
I’m not even sure what all I did today, but it flew by. I had Bible study and then grocery shopped and cleaned the doctor’s office, so that pretty much took care of my afternoon and evening.
Amazing how a day can fly by and be so full of ‘stuff’!
Thanks for the little teaser! 🙂 Love your card and the styling on the stump! 🙂
Thanks Pam! I didn’t think the card pic looked to great beside my pics of the wedding but that’s ok – the wedding pics SHOULD be better!
I love the picture of the shoes. Beautiful shots!
Thank you Ann! I worked on a bunch more editing last night but still have a lot to do. I think I’m going to have my Teenager learn photoshop and take over the editing!
What! That’s it? I just I understand since the bride really should see the pictures first. Still, I can’t wait to see more. You have an incredible eye and amazing attention to details.
🙂 I know, Amy, I know! 2 was just not very nice of me was it!?!! I wanted to post a bunch so bad but I really shouldn’t – I will get at the editing I promise and once I hand off the cd to my aunt I will post some more here!
What a lovely sneak peek! I know these photos are going to be gorgeous! I can relate to never thinking to buy a card ahead of time. If only I was as good as you at whipping one up last minute!
Thank you Sonya! Whipping up a card isn’t hard if you have some stuff on hand like stamps and washi tape!
The flowers look gorgeous! You are endlessly talented! I can’t wait to see the rest of the pictures. I love to look at some gorgeous wedding photos. Funny, maybe because they are always joyful. Have a great weekend. -K
Thanks Karen – I just do what I love to do! God has gifted me with lots of things I like to do – and if I excel at it the glory is HIS!
Sweet shots. I bet they are all just gorgeous. Good luck with all your projects.
Liz
Thanks Liz! I’m a little nervous posting more of them – I’m nowhere near a professional photographer – just a wannabe that enjoys using her camera!
It’s awesome that you made a card though 🙂 I am so lame I often totally forget the card and end up scribbling something on the bag or what ever I wrapped it in!
Well, since I wasn’t taking the gift I thought it best to at least take a card! If I were taking the gift I might have put a post-it note on it saying who it was from – LOL!
