Good Morning from the blogger who forgot to write a blog post last night. I spent yesterday taking The Teenager to Grandma’s, eating lunch with my girls and parents at Taco Bell, running a couple of errands, and then most of the rest of my day at my computer. But I forgot to blog! Gasp! I was even up till 2:30 thanks to the wonderful coffee my husband made, that I couldn’t resist, that I drank regardless of the fact that I knew it would keep me awake. So instead of sleeping I started writing something I’ve thought about for a while. Obviously it wasn’t a blog post 😉 I will be sending my ramblings to my sister, who is a better writer than I am, so she can critique it and tell me if it is worth pursuing. Isn’t she just the luckiest sister in the world?!! Hi Sis – look for something in your inbox over the weekend 🙂 And by the way – today is my Sister’s birthday!! Won’t you stop by her blog and wish her a happy one? Pretty please??
Ok on to the French Flea I was privileged to go to last Friday. I know, that was a WEEK ago and I’m just now getting around to blogging about it! Bad blogger I am. But I was finally given the go ahead to blog about our Dinner in the Garden so I did that instead. I attended this french flea last year too. You can see my posts about it here and here. I went with the same friends that went last year, minus one who had other plans this time 🙁 We missed you Gina!
I love how they used shutters to create part of their outer wall around the parking lot, which was stuffed full of great vendors.
And their wall of pallets for the rest of the outer wall. Pallets are a hot item right now – what can you NOT do with a pallet?
The lovely entrance.
Darling couch and just look at those lovely pillows!
This chalkboard wall was in D. Reyne’ booth and I am so in love with it! Love how they drew all that stuff on the wall and then added in the real stuff. I have another post coming featuring this booth and its wonderful owner!
Oh what fun just waiting to be discovered!
Lovely flower market. I so loved this last year too. If I lived local instead of 100 miles away I would totally be taking some of those flowers home with me.
This booth was just inside the entrance and it was just delightful! I will be blogging more about this one too and the lovely owner.
More flowers. My favorite variety!
A peek inside Horton’s shop.
I have plenty more pics to come – soon I promise! Remember I forgot to blog last night and now I’m behind on my Friday morning. I have a house to clean up and a project to start, and some projects to finish. Oh, and I purchased some Annie Sloan Chalk Paint from a couple wonderful gals at Horton’s!! I am so excited to finally have my hands on some of the stuff. I hope to use it on something this weekend. Blog post about the chalk paint coming up too. If I remember 🙂
What do you have planned for your weekend?
Sew a Fine Seam
Linking up!

Wow, looks like lots of fun! Where is this at? Probably not close enough for me to be able to go 🙁

The flea market looks like lots of fun! Love how it’s all fixed up. There’s just something about a cute display…something Wal-mart DOES NOT offer! 🙂
Another post filled with beautiful things to look at.
I spy someone I know 🙂
I am curious too where this is at? And gasp….u bought chalk paint without me?! Just kidding when would I find time to paint? Can’t wait to see what u paint with it…I am dying to know what color u picked!
Hi Angie – So sorry! I should have called you! We can get this in Tipp City too.
The sale is in Tipton Indiana about 100 miles from here. I got paris grey and old white. I bet you are shocked!
Seems to be a really nice flea market! And the flower market is so beautiful! Would have loved to be there.
Enjoyed the pictures. Love the one that shows one of your friends in the mirror. Good photography! Looks like lots of fun.
