Packaging. It is one of the most important details that will set you apart from all the rest when it comes to shipping products you sell. Tossing stuff in a box, taping it up good, slapping an address on it and paying the postmaster will get it where it’s going but most likely won’t WOW your customer a whole lot. Sure they will be glad they got their stuff but it won’t exactly be like a kid-on-Christmas-morning feeling. Just a few little things can make the package so much more fun and it doesn’t have to take a ton of time or money.
Since Breida with a b. likes bees I stamped a bee onto a vintage eclair liner and stapled it to the glassine bag.
Since I don’t have custom printed thank you cards yet, I made one using the stamps I have.
Since I was shipping this I wrapped it in tissue and secured the tissue with a piece of Washi Tape. Then I placed it in a priority mailing envelope, addressed it, and sent it on it’s way! Easy, simple, used what I had on hand, and hopefully it made it just a little more special than just putting the camera strap cover in the mailing envelope. It’s the little things in life that make us smile right??!!
