Yummy. Wish I could take a bite right now! Chocolate helps everything right? And if you don’t like chocolate I’m sure you have some sort of comfort food that fits the bill.
My Mom bought these fabrics when we were in Holmes County over Christmas. She wanted a bag made to give to a friend. So a few weeks ago I finally got it made for her. Now she has it for whenever she wants to give it away!
I used a canvas bag from Walmart that I already had and just added ruffles, cut the old handles off and made new ones. I saw this idea here. Gotta be the most simple way to make a ruffled bag! I just used a rolled hem on my serger to finish the bottoms of the ruffles. One of these days I’m gonna get me a ruffler for my sewing machine and then it will really be easy.
You did such a great job on this, Jill!! I can't wait to give it to my friend!!! Thank you again. Love, Mother
That bag is GREAT! The weekend is coming!!
