If you know me well, you know that I clean my house best when I get inspired to rearange the decor:) It’s the time of year when I’m chomping at the bit to get the Christmas decor out. But since I’ve (so far) always made myself wait till after Thanksgiving I decided to just rearange the fall stuff.
Eye charts from McMaster and Storm. Thought our school room needed these!
‘Perfume’ sign also from McMaster and Storm. I’ve never really been satisfied with my downstairs bathroom’s decor. I find bathroom decor hard, how about you? Anyway, part of the reason I’ve never been satisfied is because it is one of those ‘unfinished projects’! We still need a ceiling height cabinet and cabinet doors under the sink. When hubby decides to make the cabinets himself that’s how it goes!! With the addition of this sign and rearanging a few things, I’m happy with it for now. Still want it finished someday, but for now an old linen hides the plumbing and clutter under the sink and I just deal with the ‘stuff’ that accumulates where the big cabinet is supposed to be:)
Prize ribbon also from McMaster and Storm. It was in one of their bargain boxes at their Studio Sale.
So do you decorate seasonally? Are you inspired to clean when you want to rearange?
What's decorating?! You would be appalled if you could see my house! I don't do decor….
Well as you know I am all ready for Christmas…we put our tree up the weekend before Thanksgiving, that way everything is done and we can just enjoy by Thanksgiving day. I've already started putting a few things out in the living room.
Your home looks beautiful!!

I am cleaning all this week, it's quite a dilemma, because it's too late to do fall and too early to do Christmas… But, if I don't clean I don't decorate, but if I never redecorate, I won't deep clean. I finished the boys' room last night with a total of 3 trash bags and 3 goodwill bags. In their room, it's not so much redecorating as it is clearing trash so you can see the decorating!
oh my goodness, the 'weighing in the balance' vignette is captivating. glad you're decorating for Thanksgiving. a lot of people are just kind of skipping it.
