I’m not one of those who typically finds great stuff at Goodwill. I get some clothes for my kids occasionally, my husband buys shirts there, I find the occasional clothing item for myself. But I never find the new Lands End shoes, denim jean jacket (I’ve been hunting for over a year), the paint-by-number prints, the cute vintage Christmas items, and definitely not the leather couch. Nope, not me, I just don’t have the touch. Usually.
Now I know this isn’t a leather couch (I doubt I’ll ever be the one to nab one of those!) but I was excited to see it sitting at Goodwill the other evening! I’d been thinking for a few weeks that I needed to get an old box of some kind to put the girls books in so they wouldn’t always be all over my living room. I tossed around the idea of having Travis make one but, he has so many other projects to do I hated to even mention it. I thought maybe if I’d take the time to go to garage sales I’d find something. Problem usually is if I DO find something I like, it has a price tag that is more than I want to pay.
So when I spotted this for $2.99 I grabbed it! Big Sister was just ahead of me and she stopped at it, looked back at me and said, “I suppose you like this?” I said “of course!” and picked it up and headed to the front of the store!!
How Sweet!
I would have snatched that up too.
It seems like {in a small house} that you can never have enough storage :)!
Love it! I saw a bunch of jean jackets somewhere. My memory has left me. Maybe it was Troy Goodwill that had a rack of them!
oooh cute cute! love good will finds! I never have found a leather couch either!
Hey if you are needing clothes for your girls i went to piqua last week and had a major score(which is unusual for Piqua's)
cotton candy in it for the next girl's part-y!
cute.

hmmm…it would be pretty cute in my toyroom/schoolroom! I like it! great find! love big sister's question!!!
That's what keeps you going back. 🙂 You make a hundred stops it seems before you find that one thing that makes you stop again. Anyway, it's super cute. Looks just like you. 🙂
Cute…
The problem with finding something great is that it might be six months before you find something again…
Makes for a fun day though!
Just fantastic! Good for you!
Adorable. You hit the jackpot. Makes me want to hop in the car and head out to Goodwill.
Thanks Vicky! I’m so ready to get out again and go garage sale-ing and thrifting! Warm weather needs to come to stay!
