This is what the river in our town looks like about 20 minutes after a huge ice jam gives way. We have a video of it and it was really moving fast! Some of the ice chunks were rather large too!

Also..Trent and I got to see the river break loose about 14 yrs. ago. We still talk about it! It’s awesome to see all those huge chunks of ice!

I am still kicking myself for not going to the park Sunday afternoon to take pictures of the ice. It was solid when we left for church and on the way home it was incredible! Looked like the polar ice cap or something. I’m glad you took some pictures!
