A turkey dinner just isn’t complete without cranberry salad – and not just any cranberry salad – it has to be my Grandma’s cranberry salad recipe.

Maria and Pablo lived in a tiny village in Mexico. Because Christmastime at their house did not include many gifts, Maria and Pablo looked forward to the Christmas festivities at the village church with great joy and anticipation.
Oh Deer… my faux white deer is just so much fun to have on my wall this Christmas! He proudly and silently wears his holiday decor as he reigns over our living room.
I love browsing blogs and seeing all the wondrously decorated mantels. So many great ideas. So many new Christmas ‘pins’. So many things I want to try. But I don’t have a mantel. Instead, I have a 12 foot shelf that spans the width of my living room. So I decorate a Shelf instead of a Mantel!
I always do some decorating outside, at least on the porches. This year was not very cold for it, which I thought was wonderful! I’m not one of the people wishing for snow and asking where winter is! I know you are shocked 😉
Blogging has taken a back seat this week due to my Grandma leaving us for heaven. Funeral is Saturday, delayed due to family traveling from other states and the schedule at the funeral home. …or in my case deck the nook, etc. I can’t really ‘deck the halls’ because I don’t have a hall to deck. But I definitely find places to deck out for the holidays! I love Christmas decor. Each year I pull it all out and use it in different spots and different ways.
