Patriotic pillows are a fun way to bring some summertime color and fun to your decor. With Independence day fast approaching now is the perfect time to make some or buy a few! Summer is in full swing, we have been swimming and playing and enjoying a break from school along with vaction Bible school, […]
It’s Friday! And it’s the 4th Friday of the month so it’s Farmhouse Friday! Our theme this month is a patriotic how-to so I’ve created a Patriotic Fairy Garden Pennant Banner. Since this weekend is the unofficial start of summer, we’ve decided that Farmhouse Friday will go on hiatus for a few months. Who else […]
It’s project challenge time, and this month it involves a wooden pulley. I about let everyone down this month, as I’m woefully behind schedule. I’m telling you peeps, life is beyond crazy – am I right?! And I know you are nodding your heads and uh-huh-ing and totally agreeing with me! Seriously peeps – HOW […]
*this is a sponsored post and may contain affiliate links – crafting with nature Hello? Tap-tap. Is this thing on? Hello? Anyone there? Do I have anyone still reading this blog of mine? I’ve been so immersed in my business of pillow making – filling orders, creating some new, soon-to-be-seen designs, selling at the Hobnob […]
Hi Peeps! I’m in the mad dash of the final prep for Hobnob Market NEXT WEEK! EEEEKKK! So exciting and so much final prep to do! I thought I was going to have to let this months Project Challenge slide but at the very last minute I threw a burlap seat on a chair. A […]
A Morning Table – The term conjures up visions of morning coffee (or tea if you are truly English) overlooking an English garden, with the morning sun just creeping over the horizon and sending shafts of warm, soft light to caress the face of the person sitting at the Morning Table.
Good Morning! I hope your weekend was amazing and that your week will be awesome. It’s springtime folks, even if the weather hasn’t quite figured that out yet around here. My pansies that I planted inside for my Spring Living Room Tour are now outside on the porch and have been covered overnight a time […]
Chalkboard paint. You know, that amazing stuff that gives you a chalkboard surface on whatever you choose to put it on! That is the category choice for this month’s Project Challenge. What is more classic than a chalkboard, right? I wanted to think outside the box … er… chalkboard … and come up with something a […]
Spring is here! The calendar says so, the weather says so some days, and I am definitely more than ready to see winter go packing and not come back!
Today is Farmhouse Friday and this month I’m sharing with you my Farmhouse Spring Living Room. I love it when the main room we hang out in is clean and tidy, and all decorated with fresh, fun decor.
Spring has sprung early in Ohio! So thankful! Yes, we will most likely have some cold days yet, but at this point it won’t last long cause we are midway through March 🙂 I’m thankful for every day that is warmer than ‘normal’. (whatever ‘normal’ is) (cracks me up every time the news tells us it’s above or below ‘normal’ for this time of year)
Easter is early this year, not as early as it can be, but it’s in March instead of April so that makes it early in my book. I’m hoping we have sunny, warm weather. March came in rather not-nice this year so hopefully it will go out nice.
Today I have some Easter Egg Decor to share with you. My friends and I decided on Easter Eggs for our Dose of DIY this month and when I saw a pack of paper mache Easter Eggs half price recently I nabbed them.
Welcome to another Farmhouse Friday where we are all sharing how we use florals in our homes. I’m going to show you how I went about adding Farmhouse Appeal with (mostly) Faux Floral.
Time out – WHY does spellcheck insist on saying ‘faux’ is misspelled?!
Seriously? I use the word fairly often and it drives me batty the way spellcheck doesn’t recognize it. Maybe I need to find a faux spellchecker to use instead of the real one! 😯
Ok, on to adding Farmhouse Appeal (or charm) with Faux Floral. (mostly faux for me this year)
A Cuckoo clock makeover.
I PAINTED IT!
WHITE. I painted it white. So there. 😀
I know. You can’t believe it. (I’m being very sarcastic here)
But I did. I painted a vintage cuckoo clock white.
